Sammie and Jessie

  Dad and I changed the oil in the Jetta tonight. There was a pretty sunset and many planes flying over. I love to watch planes and I always wish I was flying somewhere. After the oil was changed, we washed my car (Oh, and here's my oil changing outfit).

Today Zjanelle and Kathleen brought me a cookie monster drink from Beans and Brews. YUM! It was so good to see them and chat for a bit. After I got off, I met them at Beans and Brews to jump Zj's Subaru.  After work, I met mom and Jessie at Noodles for dinner. Of course we got Penne Rosa!

After work, we met at the gas station to fill up and get a Mountain Dew with coconut and raspberry syrup. We very rarely drink soda, but this is becoming a favorite of ours. We took some quick pics while drinking our Dews, then we dipped.

Today was THE BEST! Jessie and I started out by driving up Big Cottonwood Canyon to hike to Lake Mary & Catherine, but it looked like it was going to rain so we didn't. Instead, we drove over Guardsman's Pass and went to Montage Deer Valley and rode the ski lift. It was SO peaceful and cool. I loved it. On your way back down, you can see the pool from the resort, and it's so pretty because it's in the middle of the mountains. Then, we drove through Park City and went to the outlets. We walked into Michael Kors, just to look around, and they offered us a job at the Lehi location. So that could be up next! Next, we went back home on Parley's, and went to the weekly Daybreak food truck round-up. That is so fun because everyone is so happy, it's summer and feels so good outside, and you can eat whatever you want because there are a lot of trucks there. Today I (Sam) worked in the morning, and Jessie brought me Subway and Dairy Queen. When I got off we went up Parley's to our new favorite spot. We were there for hours. One of our favorite things to do is drive up canyons, and we also love to take pictures and car watch. This was a dream, haha. We always take advantage of the days we have off together, because we don't get many.

Every time there's a UFC fight, our family goes to Kevin and Camille's house and we have fight night parties. This fight was huge because Mayweather is a boxer, and McGregor is a UFC fighter. Mayweather won, and I (Sammie) was so happy because I don't like how cocky Conor McGregor is.  Jessie, Camille, and I painted our nails during the fight, but we could barely finish because it was so intense! We were glued to the TV! We always have fun no matter what.   

  Great day! We started out by leaving our house at 6:15 to get to the Taylorsville TJ Maxx for the grand opening. Jessie and I were participating in a fashion show for the grand opening. I had to leave to go to work at 8:30. We both got off at 5, and headed down to pick up Ashlyn and go to Rosemarie's house. Then we went to University Mall to go shopping. We went to Gap, American Eagle, Forever 21, and more. We had a great day.
